The incredible south coast beaches of Mykonos (Part 2)

PLOUTARCHOS CHIOU - Sunday, March 27, 2016

The second part of the post regarding the incredible south coast beaches of Mykonos.

6. Super Paradise

Super Paradise beach is located south of the island at a distance of about 7 km from the town of Mykonos between the beaches Paradise and Agrari.

Along with the Paradise beach, they are the most famous beaches in Mykonos. The beaches real name is Plintri from the homonymous settlement situated a short distance above the beach.

Super Paradise is famous for its lively and without limits fun. The beach is popular among gay and it is considered as the beach in Mykonos with most nudists.

The beach has golden sand and deep blue waters. It is well organized with sun beds, umbrellas, beach bars, restaurant, rooms and luxurious villas.

7. Agrari

Agrari beach is located at the southern part of the island, between the beaches Super Paradise and Elia, approximately 9 km from the town of Mykonos.

The location is scenic and wild at the same time and for this reason the area got its name Agrari which means in Greek "wild area".

Agrari beach is an alternative to the crowded and frenetic pace of the island, offering tranquility and relaxation.

Enjoy the sandy and has clear aquamarine waters.

8. Elia

Elia beach is located between the beaches Kalo Livadi and Agrari.

It is among the largest and most beautiful beaches on the island and is characterized as "gay friendly".

It is very cosmopolitan with famous guests and ideal for nudists mainly in the right part of the beach.

9. Kalo Livadi

The beautiful beach Kalo Livadi is located between the beaches of Elia and Kalafatis. It is a long and wide beach and is 10 km from the town of Mykonos and 2 km from Ano Mera.

The beach is fully organized with parasols, beach bars, restaurants and water sports.

It is ideal for a relaxing bath but there is also the possibility of fun since there are beach bars on the beach which get crowded.

10. Kalafatis

Kalafatis beach is located between the beaches of Kalo Livadi and Lia.

The beach lies in front of the homonymous settlement and has been awarded many times with the Blue Flag. It is a beach for everyone without the crowds of the cosmic beaches of Mykonos.

The location features trees that exist throughout most of the length of the beach and excellent facilities for water sports.

The beach is a paradise for wind surfing as for many summer days strong winds blow.

11. Lia

The beach of Lias or Lyias is located at the southeast of the island and is easily accessible though it is one of the most distant beaches of Mykonos.

It stands out for its blue waters, golden sand and good organization.

It is ideal for those seeking something more quiet and alternative.
